Overview

Frostelle overview

Frostelle adds Ice typing to Stardrift's Grass origin and ends the two-form line. Speed stands out at 113 in a 518 total, ahead of 92 Special Attack. Its list contains recovery, Leech, Frostbite, and attacks from both types. Vine Drain has 50 percent lifesteal, Recover I restores 40 percent of maximum HP, and Hail damages all targets while applying Frostbite. Aurora Blade then gains 40 Power against a frostbitten target, while Frostbite Sting adds another stack. The dual typing broadens offensive coverage, but it also produces a 4x weakness to Fire and six defensive weaknesses overall.

How to get Frostelle

Frostelle has a direct wild encounter listing in Shiver Snows. Its egg section counts four sources but names Stardrift's Egg and Stardrift's Shiny Egg, preserving the earlier form's name across the normal and shiny categories.

The final form is also available by evolving Stardrift at level 70. Its documented paths therefore include the Shiver Snows encounter, the Stardrift-named egg records, and evolution with Evolution, Grass Element, and Ice Element Stones.

Evolution cost

Frostelle evolution route

Stardrift evolves into Frostelle at level 70 with 30 Evolution Stones, 15 Grass Element Stones, and 15 Ice Element Stones. Frostelle is the line's final form.

The evolution adds Ice to the existing Grass type and raises the base-stat total from 380 to 518. Frostelle's 113 Speed is 32 points above Stardrift's 81, the largest stat increase highlighted by the two spreads.

Level skills

Frostelle moves and skills

Frostelle's special-leaning utility links Grass recovery and Leech with Ice-based Frostbite setup. Its fastest-growing payoff is Aurora Blade against a frostbitten target.

Team decision

Should you use Frostelle?

Frostelle is a clear option when the 113 Speed of the completed line matters and you want recovery plus Frostbite interactions in one move list. Hail covers all targets, Aurora Blade rewards prior Frostbite, and two skills restore health in different ways. Its matchup costs are substantial: Fire deals 4x and five additional types deal 2x. The direct Shiver Snows and Stardrift egg listings offer alternatives to paying the level 70 evolution materials, which include three separate stone categories.
