Overview

Vipip overview

The shape of Vipip's 258-point spread is easy to read: 59 Atk first, 54 Spe second, then a sharp drop to 40 SpA and 39 HP. Def and SpD are both 33. Its skills reinforce the physical side through Savage Bite, Toxic Sting, Poison Coat, and Venom Burst, although Venom Spray supplies special damage. Poison can be applied in stacks, then Venom Burst gains five Skill Power for each stack on the target. Vipip is found in Murkwood or obtained through its listed eggs. Ten Evolution Stones and ten Poison Element Stones enable evolution into Vipour at level 35.

How to get Vipip

Murkwood is the GCZ entry's wild encounter location for Vipip. Four egg sources are also counted, and the card names Vipip's Egg in the normal category plus Vipip's Shiny Egg in the shiny category. These records concern the first form of the Poison evolution line.

Since Vipip begins the Vipip, Vipour, and Viparch sequence, no incoming evolution is provided for obtaining it. Use either the Murkwood listing or one of the documented egg categories to identify its acquisition routes. The later level 35 row changes Vipip into Vipour; it does not add another way to produce Vipip itself.

Evolution cost

Vipip evolution route

Vipip reaches Vipour at level 35. The transformation costs 10 Evolution Stones and 10 Poison Element Stones, with no other material included in that row.

The second stage advances when Vipour reaches level 90 and uses 30 Evolution Stones with 25 Poison Element Stones, producing Viparch. Vipip starts this three-form Poison line at 258 total base stats; Vipour rises to 359, and the final Viparch entry totals 502.

Team decision

Should you use Vipip?

Pick Vipip if the combination of physical Poison attacks and stack-based payoff is what you need from a first-stage Evomon. Poison Coat adds two stacks while dealing damage, the Poison skill adds five, and Venom Burst converts each existing stack into five extra Skill Power. Fatal Rebound and Immolate introduce less conventional tradeoffs directly described by the move data. Vipip is frail on paper, with 33 in both defenses, and Ground is especially awkward because it resists Poison offense while dealing double damage back.
