Overview

Arcapex overview

Arcapex differs from the three starter families in both source and structure. It is the second member of a two-form line, can appear as a wild encounter at Thunder Cliffs, and follows Arcub's level-70 evolution. Its 115 Atk and 108 Spe lead a 560 total, while 69 SpD is the lowest stat. The skill table favors physical damage but includes special Chain Lightning and Volt Tempest. Static Field attacks while removing the user's status conditions; Electrify places three Paralysis stacks; Thor Power doubles the next Electric skill's Power; and Thunder Retribution adds 30 fixed damage.

Obtain route

How to get Arcapex

Arcapex has a direct wild route at Thunder Cliffs. Its obtain data describes a wild encounter there without adding a sub-area, encounter rate, weather condition, capture item, or level. The GCZ entry also records four egg sources for the line and explicitly names Arcub's Egg and Arcub's Shiny Egg.

Evolution provides another documented path. Arcub becomes Arcapex at level 70 when supplied with 30 Evolution Stones and 25 Electric Element Stones. The ordered family contains only Arcub and Arcapex, so this single transformation reaches the final listed member. The egg labels point to Arcub, while the wild listing names Arcapex itself.

Evolution cost

Arcapex evolution route

Arcapex is the second member of the two-form Arcub and Arcapex line. Arcub evolves at level 70, and the required materials are 30 Evolution Stones plus 25 Electric Element Stones.

No outgoing transformation is attached to Arcapex, making the level-70 change the line's only recorded evolution. Separately, Arcapex can appear as a wild encounter at Thunder Cliffs, while the named normal and shiny eggs belong to Arcub.

Team decision

Should you use Arcapex?

Choose Arcapex when you want high 115 Atk, 108 Spe, and an Electric list with several defined interactions. It can clear its own status conditions while attacking, apply three Paralysis stacks, gain 40 Skill Power against Paralysis, double the next Electric skill, remove an opponent's stat boosts, set Thunderstorm weather, or add fixed damage. Its 69 SpD is the obvious low point. Ground deserves extra caution because it hits Arcapex for 2x and also reduces Electric attack damage to 0.5x.
